Corteforte, Valpolicella
Caro Amico mio,
In questi giorni che annunciano la Pasqua, unitamente ai miei più cari Auguri a te ed alla tua famiglia ti invio alcune bottiglie dei miei vini, dei quali ti traccio queste brevi note personali.
Il primo che ti presento è il nostro Rosso Veronese IGT 2016 “Concentus”, premiato con 91 punti sulla guida 5StarWines Book 2023 del Vinitaly che si è appena concluso, mentre nella guida Luca Maroni ai Migliori Vini d’Italia 2022 “Concentus” si è classificato 3° assoluto con 96 punti. Questo rosso è davvero un vino straordinario e molto accattivante che ci sta dando grandi soddisfazioni!
Scopri poi l’alta qualità del nostro Valpolicella Ripasso Podere Bertarole DOP 2018, un vino molto apprezzato e premiato con punteggi di oltre 90 punti. Il nostro Ripasso sta ora passando completamente alla coltivazione biologica e l’annata 2018 Bio ha già ottenuto 5 foglie, punteggio massimo, nella nuova Guida Vini Biologici 2022.
Arriviamo ora agli amatissimi Amaroni!
Iniziate senz’altro la degustazione assaggiando il nostro “Terre di San Zeno 2015”, l’Amarone base di Corteforte, un vino di alta qualità che ha ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti e punteggi di 91 e 93 punti. Stappa poi gli Amaroni “Vigneti di Osan” 2012 e 2015, annate eccezionali che hanno ottenuto la votazione di 96 e 97 punti ed i 5 grappoli dell’Associazione Italiana Sommelier.
Per il fine pranzo ti ho riservato un vero nettare: il nostro Recioto Classico “Amandorlato” 2016.
La qualità “amandorlato” è un antico vino della Valpolicella, che è stato riscoperto da Corteforte ed a metà strada tra il Recioto Classico e l’Amarone. Non è molto conosciuto, ma si è portato a casa una Medaglia d’Oro all’International Wine City Challenge e ti assicuro chi lo prova non può fare a meno di innamorarsene!
Sono sicuro che i nostri vini ben si sposeranno con il buon cibo della tua tavola del quale ho sempre un ottimo ricordo e che spero di tornare ad assaggiare presto!

My dear friend,
In these days that announce Easter, together with my dearest Greetings to you and your family I send you some bottles of my wines, of which I trace these brief personal notes.
The first wine that I’m proud to introduce to you is our Rosso Veronese IGT 2016 “Concentus”. Awarded with 91 points on the 5StarWines Book 2023 by the Vinitaly fair that has just ended, in the Luca Maroni guide to the Best Wines of Italy 2022 “Concentus” was ranked 3. absolute with 96 points. This red is really an extraordinary and very captivating wine that is giving us such great satisfaction!
Now discover the high quality of our Valpolicella Ripasso Podere Bertarole DOP 2018, a highly appreciated and awarded wine with rannkings of more than 90 points. Our Ripasso is now switching completely to organic cultivation and the 2018 Bio vintage has already obtained 5 leaves, the maximum score in the new Organic Wine Guide 2022.
And now come to the beloved Amaroni!
Start the tasting with our “Terre di San Zeno 2015”, the enter Amarone of Corteforte, a high quality wine that has received numerous awards and rankings of 91 and 93 points. Then uncork the Amaroni “Vigneti di Osan” 2012 and 2015, exceptional vintages that obtained 96 and 97 points and the 5 bunches of the Italian Sommelier Association.
For the end of lunch I have selected for you a real nectar: our Recioto Classico “Amandorlato” 2016.
The “amandorlato” quality is an ancient wine of Valpolicella, which has been rediscovered by Corteforte and is an halfway between the sweet Recioto Classico and Amarone. Amandorlato is not yet very well known, but it has already earned a Gold Medal at the International Wine City Challenge and be sure that who taste it cannot help falling in love with!
